Metal Shearing Knives

Bach Knives has great success in cutting high-strength, high-hardness heavy gauge tire cord with our Hermanite 10 metal shearing blades. These specially designed blades are forged and through-hardened for consistent results before and after regrinding. Due to the blade’s composition, very little stock removal is required during resharpening (0.002”-0.003”), therefore substantially increasing the overall life of these blades. Our Hermanite 10 blades are stable and hold their straightness, regardless of how many times they are reground, setting them apart from inlay type blades.
